DAM is one of the oldest brands that exist in the fishing industry. This German manufacturer of equipment has been operating since 1875, so it can boast almost 150 years of history. The company was founded by two brothers - Oskar and Fitz Ziegenspeck - who from the beginning focused on products for fishing, and already in 1902 began their expansion to other European countries. The DAM brand quickly became synonymous with innovation - it was responsible for the first synthetic fiber monofilament line and the first spinning reel with two retrieving speeds.
In 1991, the company launched the groundbreaking Quick series of carp reels. This iconic product line is still known around the world today, as well as other DAM series, including Effzett, Tectan and Damyl. The German manufacturer offers an extremely wide range. Just browse the catalog - what is not there! Reels, rods, lines, professional clothing, fishing accessories (from leaders and hooks, through landing nets to umbrellas) and various lures (hooves, twisters, rippers, spoons, spinners) are only a fraction of the available offer. In the 1980s and 90. imported German equipment opened up completely new opportunities for Polish anglers - in the country on the Vistula River, the DAM brand, not only because of its sentiment, still enjoys well-deserved recognition.
